Audra Napoli, Wellness Director
Audra has been with Sandalwood Spa since its inception. Prior to opening Sandalwood, she owned Bliss Body Spa in beautiful San Luis Obispo. Audra has a passion for wellness and is excited about all that the team at Sandalwood Spa has to offer. She is a certified Yoga instructor, an Integrative Nutritional Coach and is a licensed Esthetician as well as a Massage Therapist. Audra's myriad of experience is helping to transform Sandalwood Spa into a well-rounded Wellness Facility.
Tabalyn Dosier, Spa Coordinator
Tabalyn was hired by BlueStar Resort & Golf in 2012 as a Fitness Attendant. Born and raised in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu, Tabby moved to the Central Coast in to seek new adventures on the Mainland. That's when she found our hidden gem-of-a-spa in Nipomo. At Sandalwood Spa, Tabby has enjoyed helping many Members and guests find serenity and relaxation with our services. She has developed a passion for the Spa and Wellness field, and looks forward to furthering her career with Sandalwood Spa. Some of her other passions include hiking, road trips, Disneyland, and meeting new people.
Vanessa Knowlton, Wellness Attendant
Vanessa was born and raised in Santa Maria where she graduated from Righetti High School in 2009. She left Santa Maria for seven years to spend time living in Texas, South Korea and Germany. While living overseas, Vanessa worked at a Child Development Center. After moving back to the states, Vanessa returned to Santa Maria with her four year old daughter. In her free time, she likes to create memories with family and look for new adventures. Vanessa is happy to have joined the Sandalwood Spa team and is excited to see what opportunities await her in the future.
Rafael Heredia, Wellness Attendant
Rafael was born in San Luis Obispo and has lived in Nipomo all his life. He attended Nipomo High School, graduating in 2014 and is currently attending Allan Hancock Community College with hopes of transferring to Chico State University to get his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Rafael has trained in kickboxing and Jiu Jit Su for a year and soon hopes to compete in Jiu Jit Su competitions. In his spare time, Rafael enjoys staying active, lighting weights and helping others with Fitness, Mixed Martial Arts, or life in general. He is very excited to see what is in store for him in the future and enjoys his time working at the beautiful and relaxing Sandalwood Spa.
Joseph Gocke, Wellness Attendant
Joseph was born in Irvine, California and moved to the San Luis Obispo area in 2014. He is currently attending high school and will graduate in 2018 with an aspiration to attend University of California, San Diego under a medical undergraduate program. Joseph is an avid surfer and also loves to swim and run. He is so grateful to be part of the Sandalwood Spa team where he has the opportunity to gain more knowledge about health, wellness and healing.
Sasha Mitchell, Wellness Attendant
Sasha was born in Lompoc, California and has been a Nipomo native for most of his life. He is looking forward to furthering his education in Kinesiology at Allan Hancock College with the intention of transferring to a nearby four-year university after completing his general education. In his spare time, Sasha enjoys staying active through surfing, hiking and golfing and very much enjoys furthering his understanding of health and wellness with the Sandalwood Spa team.
Kassidy Rugg, Wellness Attendant
Kassidy became part of the BlueStar Resort & Golf team in 2014 as a Greeter for Adelina's Bistro. Since then she has made her way through various other departments at the Monarch Club, gaining experience in many different fields. Kassidy is primarily a part of the Concierge team as well as the Wellness team as a Spa & Fitness Assistant. Born and raised on the Central Coast, Kassidy brings a wealth of knowledge on the surrounding areas to our members and guests. After becoming part of the Monarch Club team, she discovered her passion for hospitality which lead her to pursue a degree for Recreation Management which she is currently attending classes for through the online program at California State University, East Bay. Kassidy's has a love for resorts and spas and plans to make a career out of this passion in the near future.
Lexi Moreno, Wellness Attendant & Licensed Esthetician
Lexi is an adventurous Central Coast native who joined the Bluestar Resort & Golf team back in 2014. Since then she has fallen in love with the health and wellness industry. Lexi attended the California Holistic Institute and is a Certified Massage Practitioner, she then decided to further her interest and attended Santa Barbara Cosmetology Academy and became a licensed Esthetician with hopes to help spread her love for skin care and helping others achieve their own happiness. In her spare time she enjoys road trips, going to the beach, wine tasting, trying new food and exploring all that the world has to offer!
Corin Nartatez, Licensed Nail Technician
Corin is a Central Coast native and loves living in this area! She received her Cosmetologist license in 2012 and is CND Shellac Certified. She has an outgoing personality, loves to meet and get to know new people and enjoys working in the Spa. When she is not doing nails, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite thing about Trilogy is getting to know the members and keeping their nails well maintained.
Amber Hicks, Licensed Nail Technician & Licensed Esthetician
Amber is a California native who has lived on the Central Coast for the past five years, originally from the Mojave Desert. She found her love for taking care of and pampering others at a very young age and as a result, decided to go to high school part time while working on attaining her cosmetology license. Amber always through she wanted to be a hair stylist but once she was there, found her true passion was for skincare and nails. She's worked at various spas in California and although she is relatively new to the team her heart resides at Sandalwood Spa, a home base where she can share her passion with amazing members, guests and the best team. In her free time, Amber enjoys hanging out with her cats, going to Disneyland and traveling to music festivals around the country with her boyfriend.
Tracy Tevis, Licensed Esthetician
Tracy has worked in both Clinical and Salon skin care settings. Both environments have provided her with extensive training in Microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, various facial peels, facials and full body waxing techniques. She has attended several continuing education classes specializing in product knowledge as well as its application to different skin conditions. She has also received monthly skin care treatments for the past 10 years and combined with a healthy lifestyle knows it has made a huge difference. Tracy is looking forward to providing Sandalwood's guests with the customized experience to personally address your skin care needs all with a peaceful and relaxing environment.
Amber Barnard, Licensed Esthetician & Certified Massage Therapist
Amber, originally from Oregon, went to massage school in Seattle, Washington and has been practicing massage for the last fourteen years. She moved to California after completing massage school and found a passion for the Wellness industry. To broaden her knowledge and education, Amber attended Paul Mitchell Skin Academy and has been practicing skin care for the last eleven years as well. She now happily lives and Nipomo and was thrilled to find Sandalwood Spa so close to home. Amber has a healing touch and therapeutic approach to massage with training including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Pregnancy and Hot Stone to name a few. She also gives customized and professional skin care treatments, microdermabrasion, skin peels and waxing with a strong understanding of skin types and conditions. Outside of the Spa, she enjoys singing, music, photography and has a side business making art and gifts based on nature, where she finds her inspiration.
Chantel Isaacson, Certified Massage Therapist
Chantel was born and raised on the magical Central Coast and has been in the massage business since 2009. Her massage style centers around therapeutic modalities, using techniques such as Trigger Point and Myofascial Release, to bring the body back into balance. She loves performing hot stone massage as well as other relaxing techniques. When she's not working on the body on land, she is studying for her certification as an Aquatic Integration Therapist, a type of water-based rehabilitation. Chantel loves being able to help people move in a healthier way and to help clients find relief from the everyday stressors life puts on us, mentally and physically!
Glenna Cox, Certified Massage Therapist
Glenna Cox, a native of Northern California, moved to the Central Coast three years ago to find the right environment to install balance for herself. She is a graduate of CA Holistic Institute and has been happily practicing massage therapy ever since. Glenna is intuitive, well trained and has a firm but nurturing touch that allows her clients to feel more balance and lighter in both mind and step. Swedish, Deep Tissue, Stretch and Release and Jin Shin Acupressure are just a few of her practicing modalities. Glenna has found that not only bodywork, yet a combination of mind and body work are necessary for a well-balanced lifestyle.
Daniel Medeiros, Certified Massage Therapist
A native to the Central Coast, Daniel attended the California Holistic Institute to become a Certified Massage Therapist in 2015. His interest in massage came from his desire to heal others using touch. He enjoys performing various massage techniques such as Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Trigger Point and Deep Tissue to aid his clientele while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment at the luxurious Sandalwood Spa. As an aspiring musician in a rock band, Daniel enjoys composing music in his free time. Daniel's main goals in life are to heal others with touch and to positively benefit others with his music.
Celina Alvarez, Certified Massage Therapist
Celina was born in Visalia, California but grew up on the Central Coast. After graduating from Righetti High School in Santa Maria, she attended Allan Hancock College to study Music History and play tennis. Eager to help people feel good on a more personal and natural level, she decided to pursue massage therapy. After some research, Celina discovered the Milan Institute where she embarked on the study of massage therapy. During the program she studied various styles of massage and their benefits including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone, Therapeutic Massage, as well as Prenatal. Though she studied various styles, Celina greatly enjoys helping the "expecting mom-to-be" feel her best by offering relief through massage therapy. During her off time, Celina can be found either on the beach or at the playground with her two small children who occasionally love their little legs massaged too. Celina is very excited to be a part of the Trilogy Team at Sandalwood Spa and hopes to meet many of the members through the art of Massage Therapy.
Sherri Buvick, Certified Massage Therapist
Sherri comes to us from Avila Bay Athletic Club and Spa where she served as the Spa Director for the past 15 years. Prior to that, she owned and operated SLO Massage Therapy in San Luis Obispo. Sherri has been a massage therapist since 1992. She gives an integrative-style massage using a variety of therapeutic techniques, depending on the client's needs. She is certified in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Structural Bodywork, Hot Stone, Oncology, and Esalen-style massage. Esalen is a specific style of massage using very slow, focused contact that connects the entire body. She is currently training for advanced Esalen massage and Integrative Mobility Massage. Sherri loves the Central Coast and has called it home for over 30 years. She has been a Cross-Fitter for the last five years and a half-marathoner for as long as she can remember. She has twin 4-year old granddaughters and a one-year old grandson that she adores! She also has a pet rat named "Lucy" and Chihuahua named "Katy Perry."
Nick Ledbetter, Certified Massage Therapist
New to the Central Coast, Nick Ledbetter brings 12 years experience as a certified massage therapist and over two decades of self-educated studies in various fields of natural/spiritual healing. He practices in various forms of massage, spiritual/energy techniques, and herbal/nutritional awareness. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing music, exercising, collecting stones and crystals, astronomy, quantum physics, volunteering for various organizations and running marathons to benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. His goal in life is to become an eastern medicine doctor/acupuncturist and also an educator for others who plan to pursue the same path.
